The Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprises – BUSINESSMED and The General Confederation of the Employers of Morocco (CGEM) jointly organized the 1st Workshop on Local Authorities and Social dialogue on November 15th – 16th 2017, in Casablanca.
The meeting was dedicated to the promotion of Casa-Settat’s success story as the sole Moroccan region who signed a social pact between Local Authorities, Trade Unions and Employers’ association since 2015. It witnessed the participation of the different Moroccan social partners namely the Moroccan Ministry of Labour, The Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE Morocco) and the Trade Unions (CDT, FDT, UNMT).
It’s a unique model arising from a fruitful tripartite dialogue to be capitalized and followed at the regional and the national level.
