Within the framework of the Pilot Project for the Promotion of Social Dialogue in the Southern Mediterranean Neighbourhood – SOLiD, the Arab Trade Union Confederation ATUC organised the first national capacity development workshop on 14 and 15 May 2017 in Jordan.
The 2nd workshop aimed to reflect the trade unions demands into thematic policy papers, to be the base of further discussion in the upcoming regional seminars on innovative approaches and the Charter. The policy papers includes the following themes: Anti-corruption, Social Protection, Poverty, Discrimination against women, unemployment, Informal sector, Climate change, Restructuring, Migrants, Taxes policies, vocational education, Freedom of unions organizing.
