Following the First Focal Group Workshop on “Quality of employment and underemployment. Temporary jobs and new forms of employment” a second edition was organised by The Istituto Sindacale per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (ISCOS) in coordination with The Moroccan Economic, Social and Environmental Council (ESEC), The Moroccan Workers’ Union (UMT), Democratic Confederation of Labour (CDT) and The General Union of Moroccan Workers (UGTM) on November 3rd & 4th 2017 in Casablanca , Morocco.
The meeting saw the participation of International Organizations (Oxfam International, Rabat); Civil Society Organisations (Democratic Association of Women in Morocco- ADFM, the Tahadi Association for Equality and Citizenship-ATEC) and the different members of ESEC, UMT, UGTM and CDT.
Based on the results of the First Focal Group Workshop, this second edition was oriented at exploring the concept of underemployment and its worst forms and manifestations in the Moroccan social and economic context, through the contribution of local and international civil society organisations.
