Tunisia-Germany Social Partners Quartet Exchange Seminar on “Social Dialogue and Effectiveness of Labour Law” was organized by the Arab Trade Union Confederation (ATUC) on November 17th & 18th 2017 in Tunis with participation of 20 participants from the Tunisian and German social partners.
This seminar was an exchange on the shortcomings observed by the social partners with regard to the effectiveness of the law and on the role of the labour inspectorate (vision of inspectors’ corps, vision of the social partners, provisions of international standards – the C81).
The seminar aimed to discuss and reach a consensus on the commitment of the social partners to the effectiveness of the law, to define the missions of the labour inspectorate within the meaning of the C81 and the objectives of restoration of the state.
