Within the SOLiD II project framework, the Arab Trade Union Confederation (ATUC), in collaboration with the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises (CGEA), the Mediterranean Confederation of Confederations of Enterprises (BUSINESSMED), and the Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND), organized a multilateral meeting in Algiers, the capital of Algeria, on October 7, 2023.
With the aim of establishing a global and multilateral social dialogue, and as a follow-up to the work of the first regional seminar on the role of youth and women in the activation and development of collective bargaining held in Beirut on March 30 and 31, 2022, a second meeting was organized for representatives of social partners of women and youth from the six countries targeted by the SOLiD project in the city of Oran-Algeria on September 13 and 14, 2022.

The Arab Trade Union Confederation (ATUC) organized in Algiers from 13 to 18 March 2022 a series of bipartite workshops under the second phase of the SOLiD programme at the National Institute for Research and Trade Union Studies in Algiers, with the participation of representatives of trade unions, civil society, and employers such as the Algerian Confederation of Producers and Industrialists, the General Confederation of Employers, and the Algerian Confederation of Employers Citizens.
